BIOGRAPHY

Mette Tommerup holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Painting from the School of Visual Arts, NYC, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has had recent solo exhibitions at Byron Cohen Gallery for Contemporary Art (Kansas City), Arena (NYC), and at Wolfsonian-FIU (Miami Beach), in addition to two at Emerson Dorsch. She has exhibited in group exhibitions at DACRA Art Basel Miami Beach and M 54 Projects Art Basel, Switzerland, Miami Art Museum (Miami), Upstairs Berlin (Berlin), Sikkema Jenkins & Co. (NYC), and Chelsea Art Museum (NYC). Press includes Art in America, Sculpture Magazine, The New York Times, Surprise Strassenmagazin, Baseler Zeitung, and The Miami Herald.
