Clifton Childree’s recent solo exhibitions include Fuck that Chicken from Popeyes at Kunsthalle Wien Project Space (Vienna, Austria), Orchestrated Gestures at Dorsch Gallery (Miami, FL), Miami Swamp Adventure at Pulse Art Fair (New York, NY), It Gets Worse at Diana Lowenstein Fine Arts (Miami, FL), and Dream-Cum-Tru at Locust Projects (Miami, FL). Selected group exhibitions include The Circus as a Parallel Universe at Kunsthalle Wien (Vienna, Austria), Sight Specific at Museum of Art (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), Here, There and Everywhere at Brot Kunsthalle (Vienna, Austria), and Miami Noir at Invisible Exports Gallery (New York, NY). He has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards including the Hilger Award, Best Experimental Short and Best Camera Aesthetics for She Sank, as well as Best Feature and Best Sound Design for The Flew. Recent press includes Art in America, New York Times, The Miami Herald and Art Pulse.
