BIOGRAPHY
Felecia Chizuko Carlisle holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the New Genres department at San Francisco Art Institute. Her first solo exhibition entitled I Saw Three Cities was held at Emerson Dorsch in 2011. Selected group exhibitions include New Work Miami at Miami Art Museum (Miami, FL), Yellow and Gold curated by Adalberto Delgado at Dimensions Variable (Miami, FL), Analogous juried by Lucy Lippard at Runnels Gallery (Portales, New Mexico), and Copy, Paste, Return at Golden Pudel Club: PudelKollection (Hamburg, Germany). Her videos have been screened at Sarai Media Lab (New Delhi, India), Forum Gallery of Cranbrook Academy of Art (Bloomfield Hills, MI), and MAGA Film Festival (Macon, GA). Felecia has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards including the Lefferts L. and Margarete M. Mabie Endowment, City of Ft. Pierce Arts Commission, San Francisco Art Institute Private Donor Grant and Maude Bullock-Smith Fund Scholarship. Felecia Carlisle lives and works in Miami, FL.View Artist Bio
